Distribution in the Arabian Peninsula: United Arab Emirates ( Roche 1981 as Miscophus gallicus Kohl, 1884 ; Hamer 1986, 1988; Gillett & Gillett 2005 and as M. gallicus ; Howarth & Gillett 2008; Schmid-Egger 2011, 2014).

Extralimital distribution: Algeria, Bulgaria, Canary Islands, Cyprus, France, Hungary, Iran, Israel, Italy, Malta, Morocco, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey.
