Specimens examined:— YANGON. Central part: 30 m, 11 Jun 1948, Po Khant 429 ( RAF) , det. herbarium DD. MON. Mawlamyine District: Lobb 166 ( K, W) ; same loc., Lobb 238 ( W) ; same loc., Lobb s.n. ( K, K-LINDL) ; same loc., Parish 54 ( K, W) ; same loc., Foerstermann s.n. ( K) . TANINTHARYI. Dawei District : Jan 1901, Mokim 270 ( AMES) . Also reported from Mandalay Region by Kress et al. (2003: 86), but we have not seen material from this area.

Distribution:— Northeastern India, Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina and western Malesia.
