Distribution:— The central Himalayas, northeastern India, northern Myanmar and southwestern China.

Note:— Forrest 25092 has been recorded in the literature as P. curvata K.Y.Lang (= P. bhutanica Inoue ), but this is a misidentification (P. Efimov, pers. comm.).
