Distribution:— Central Asia, the Indian Subcontinent, Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina, southwestern, southern and central China, Taiwan, Japan and throughout Malesia to New Guinea. It is also naturalised in other regions, including Florida, the Caribbean and Saudi Arabia.
