Geodorum citrinum Jacks. var. albidopurpureum C.S.P.Parish & Rchb. f., Trans. Linn. Soc. London 30: 145, 1874. Type :— MYANMAR. Tenasserim: Parish 275 (lectotype K, designated by Clayton 2017: 77).

Specimens examined:— UPPER MYANMAR. Burke s.n. ( K) , ident. uncertain. MANDALAY. Pyinoolwin District : 1065 m, 1908, Lace s.n. ( E) ; same loc., 1065 m, 31 May 1913, Lace s.n. ( E) . TENASSERIM. Type. MON. Mawlamyine District: Parish 180 ( K; icon. K) .

Distribution:— Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina and Peninsular Malaysia.

Notes:— Geodorum terrestre (L.) Garay is here considered a superfluous retypification of Epidendrum terrestre L., which was based on a mixture of three different elements referable to Phaius , Geodorum and Spathoglottis (Ormerod 1994) .
