Specimen examined:— KACHIN. Putao District : 2745–3050 m, 6 Jun 1931, Kingdon-Ward 9596 ( BM), fide Pearce & Cribb (1997: 309) .

Distribution:— The Himalayas, northern Myanmar, southwestern China and Taiwan.

Note:— Kingdon-Ward 9596 was already cited by Pearce & Cribb (1997: 309) but erroneously listed under China. It was therefore later overlooked as being Burmese.
