Replaced synonym: Cypripedium concolor Lindl. ex Bateman var. longipetalum Rolfe, Orchid Rev. 4: 54, 1896. Type:— ORIGIN UNKNOWN (possibly Myanmar). Imp. ca. 1894, without collector s.n. (not located) .
Homotypic synonym: Paphiopedilum concolor (Lindl. ex Bateman) Pfitzer var. longipetalum (Rolfe) Pfitzer in H.G.A.Engler (ed.), Pflanzenr., IV, 50 (12): 57, 1903.
Specimens examined:—? MYANMAR. Type. TANINTHARYI. Near the Thai border, fide Braem & Nimpoonsri (2014: 186) .
Distribution:— Myanmar and Peninsular Thailand.
Note:— Possibly a natural hybrid ( Koopowitz et al., 2018).
