Basionym : Eria truncata Lindl., J. Proc. Linn. Soc., Bot. View in CoL 3: 58, 1858. Type :— MYANMAR. Mon State : Mawlamyine District, 1525 m, Lobb s.n. (holotype: K-LINDL) .

Homotypic synonym: Pinalia truncata (Lindl.) Kuntze, Revis. View in CoL Gen . Pl. 2: 679, 1891.

Heterotypic synonyms: Eria chrysobractea Schltr. , Orchis 6: 7, 1912.

Eria trilamellata Rolfe, Bull. Misc. Inform. Kew 1913: 141, 1913 .

Specimens examined:— MON. Mawlamyine District : type; same loc., Parish 273 ( K, P). Also reported from Tanintharyi Region by Kress et al. (2003: 78), but we have not seen material from this area.

Distribution:— Southern Myanmar, Thailand and Indochina.
