Specimens examined:— TANINTHARYI. Dawei District : Apr 2020, 230 m, Myo Min Latt 001 ( RAF). Distribution :— Southern Myanmar, Thailand and Peninsular Malaysia. Notes :— Only recorded in 2020 ( Myo Min Latt et al. 2020:108). Nobuyuki Tanaka kindly sent details of the record .

Dendrobium capillipes Rchb. f., Gard. Chron. 1867: 997, 1867. Types:— MYANMAR. Magway Region: Thayet District, Parish 186 (syntype: K; isotype: W-R 40091 ); same loc., 1867, cult. Low s.n. (syntype: W-R 40091 ; icon. W-R 40090 )

MANDALAY. Pyinoolwin District : 6 Apr 1940, Dickason 9638 ( AMES) ; Mandalay District: Swinhoe 43 ( K) ; Myingyan District : 22 Mar 2006, Khin Myo Htwe 57 ( TNS [s]), fide Tanaka et al. (2015: 75). SHAN. Unspecified: Howitt 543 ( K) . MON. Mawlamyine District : type. WITHOUT LOCALITY. Types; cult. Beaumont s.n. ( K) . Reported from Tanintharyi Region by Kress et al. (2003: 72), but we have not seen material from this area .

Distribution:— Northeastern India, Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina and southwestern China.
