Specimen examined:— KACHIN. Putao District : Dec 2015, Saw Lwin KSL 1063 ( RAF). Distribution:— India , the Himalayas, northern Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina and southwestern China.

Bulbophyllum suavissimum Rolfe, Gard. Chron. , ser. 3, 5: 297, 1889. Type :— MYANMAR. Upper part: cult. Bill s.n. (holotype: K)

Homotypic synonym: Phyllorkis suavissima (Rolfe) Kuntze, Revis. Gen . Pl. 2: 678, 1891.

Specimens examined:— UPPER MYANMAR. Type. KACHIN. Myitkyina District: without collector s.n. (not located, possibly CAL), fide Pottinger & Prain (1898: 268); Bhamo District: fide Rolfe (1889: 297). CHIN. Mindat District: 2008, Yasuda 060050 ( MBK); same loc., 18 Sep 2008, Yasuda 060051 ( MBK), ident. uncertain. KAYIN. Kawkareik District: 1065 m, 24 Jan 1912, Lace 5606 ( E, K); same loc., 1220 m, 1 Feb 1927, Parkinson 5114 ( K). TENASSERIM. Beddome 8184 ( BM), det. G. Seidenfaden. Reported from Sagaing, Magway and Mandalay regions and Shan and Mon states by Kress et al. (2003: 67), but we have not seen any material from these areas.

Distribution:—?Northeastern India, Myanmar and Thailand to southwestern China.
