Current status. Andrena (Nobandrena) nobilis Morawitz, 1873 .

Remark. Description of male: Morawitz 1877: 71, as Andrena paliuri Morawitz, 1877 (synonymized by Warncke 1967: 180).

The correct date for the Morawitz’s paper is May 1873 (see Ebmer 2021: 285). The lectotype labels illustrated in Proshchalykin et al. (2017b: 4, fig.16) were misleading. These labels belong to another specimen that was previously labeled by A. Osytshnjuk as a lectotype. However this specimen was collected in Akstafa ( Azerbaijan) and does not come from the type locality. The real labels of the lectotype are illustrated on Fig. 37 .

Distribution. Europe, Russia (European part), Caucasus, Turkey, Cyprus, Iran, Turkmenistan.
