ORIGINALLY INCLUDED SPECIES: Ditricha helichrysi Rondani, 1871 ; Trypeta aestiva Meigen, 1826 ; Trypeta terminata Meigen, 1826 .
TYPE SPECIES: Trypeta aestiva Meigen, 1826 [= Tephritis discoidea Fallén, 1814 ], by subsequent designation ( Coquillett, 1910: 503).
CURRENT STATUS: Valid genus [ teste Norrbom et al. (1999: 73) ].
FAMILY: TEPHRITIDAE .
REMARKS: Originally proposed as a subgenus of Ditricha Rondani, 1856 .
