CURRENT STATUS: Preoccupied by Hübner, 1819; placed in “Doubtful genera and species of Limoniidae ” [ teste Savchenko et al. (1992: 369) ].
FAMILY: LIMONIIDAE .
REMARKS: Özdikmen (2010: 262) proposed Neopelosia as a new replacement name for Pelosia Rondani, 1856 , preoccupied by Hübner, 1819.
