CURRENT STATUS: Unjustified emendation of Spilographa Loew, 1862 ; junior synonym of Trypeta Meigen, 1803 . New synonymy.
FAMILY: TEPHRITIDAE .
REMARKS: Name made available as an emendation by virtue of similar spelling changes in two or more names from “i” to “y” in the same work. Spilographa Loew, 1862 is currently treated as a junior synonym of Trypeta Meigen, 1803 [ teste Norrbom et al. (1999: 238) ].
