In the protologue Candolle says: “v.s. in h. Mart.”, but we found two specimens from this collection at M.A fragmentary specimen of this collection, consisting of a single leaf and a few dissected flowers, is deposited at G, where Candolle has worked. The specimen M0165437 is here elected as lectotype, because it contains information about the collection locality, presents the largest number of well preserved flowers and is in accordance with the protologue information.
