World distribution — Croatia, France, Italy, Greece, Iran, Spain, Turkey ( Demite et al.

2022) and Romania (this study).

Hosts / Substrates — This species was described from Greece on Malus sylvestris (L.)

Mill. It is not a widely distributed species, and it has been collected only from a few host plants, mainly cultivated crops, such as Vitis spp. (Vitaceae) ( Castagnoli and Liguori 1987) and Ficus spp. (Moraceae) ( Demite et al. 2022).

Remarks — Morphological characters of the examined specimens fit with those of the original description.
