Description

Female, length of the body 5.5– 6 mm.

Colour. Body black with following parts rufous: pedicel, F1 and F2, fore leg except for coxa, mid and hindleg. Fore wing with a dark patch under marginal vein.

Head. Triangular, wider than high in frontal view. Scrobe deep, striate and extending up to the anterior ocellus. Antennae long and slender. Genotemporal furrow present. POL 3.5× OOL.

Mesosoma . Pronotum, mesoscutum and scutellum densely punctate with interstices carinate. The apex of scutellum emarginate and V-shaped.

Metasoma. Metasoma shorter than mesosoma. T1 with a pair of short basal carinae, carinae shorter than the distance between them. T1 smooth and shiny.

Distribution

INDIA. Goa (new record), Kerala, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal ( Emiliyamma 2016; Daniel and Ramaraju 2017a, 2017b).
