Genus Puto Signoret View in CoL View at ENA

This genus of 47 species occurs worldwide, but mainly in the Americas and the Palaearctic Region ( García Morales et al. 2016). Three Palaearctic species occur in continental Africa, all north of the Sahara; of these, P. superbus is the most widespread and polyphagous but it has not been recorded causing plant damage ( García Morales et al. 2016).
