The species is known from Mexico, Costa Rica, and Honduras ( Metcalf 1963a, Duffels & van der Laan 1985, Sanborn 2006b). It has been collected in Veracruz, Mexico ( Metcalf 1963a). The author has identified specimens from Oaxaca and Chiapas as well.
