Genus Hermundura Müller, 1858 View in CoL

Type species. Hermundura tricuspis Müller, 1858 , by monotypy.

Remarks. According to Glasby & Hocknull (2010) Hermundura has 17 valid species. From Western Atlantic, three species were recorded namely H. fauveli , from Mississippi, USA ( Hartman 1947), H. tricuspis , from Santa Catarina, Brazil ( Müller, 1858), and H. ocularis from California, USA ( Emerson & Fauchald, 1971).
