General distribution. A Mediterranean species extending westward to Canary Islands and eastwards to the Middle East (up to Iran) (see Péricart 1990, Lindskog 1995, Fent et al. 2011; Vinokurov & Kment 2015).
Remarks. Generically recorded for Lebanon (without exact locality) for the first time by Lindskog (1995).
