The Clistopyga diazi View in CoL species group

Diagnosis. This species group may easily be distinguished from other Neotropical Clistopyga species groups by propodeum with fine, dense and transverse striation ( Figs 3A View FIGURE 3 , 4D View FIGURE 4 , 5B View FIGURE 5 , 6E View FIGURE 6 , 7B View FIGURE 7 ). Additionally, female has occipital carina complete, in dorsal view slightly concave; antenna with 23–31 flagellomeres; epomia very short or absent; notauli deep, reaching 0.5–0.6 the length of mesoscutum ( Figs 3B View FIGURE 3 , 4B View FIGURE 4 , 5B View FIGURE 5 , 6D View FIGURE 6 , 7B View FIGURE 7 ); propodeum 1.15–1.57× as long as medially wide in dorsal view ( Figs 5B View FIGURE 5 , 7B View FIGURE 7 ); ovipositor evenly up-curved at distal 0.26–0.35 ( Figs 3F View FIGURE 3 , 4F View FIGURE 4 , 5F View FIGURE 5 , 6G View FIGURE 6 , 7G View FIGURE 7 ), and basal ventral margin of ovipositor sheaths with small denticles ( Figs 3D View FIGURE 3 , 5D View FIGURE 5 , 7E View FIGURE 7 ).
