" Occemya atra Fabr. "

A male of a Thecophora sp. from the speciespair of Thecophora pusilla (Meigen, 1824) and Thecophora atra (Fabricius, 1775) . The head is missing, but otherwise the specimen is well preserved. At present there are no suitable characters known to reliably distinguish the males of these closely related species.
