Occurrence in northern and northeastern Brazil: CE, RN: Fausto Filho (1967); PB, PE, AL: Rathbun (1900), as Eupanopeus abbreviatus ; SE: Coelho & Coelho Filho (1994); BA: Smith (1869), as Panopeus politus ( Smith, 1869) .
