Holotype. PIN, No. 1255/1361 (+/-), well-preserved impression of an incomplete imago, PIN . Paratypes. PIN, No. 1255/758 (+/-), partly preserved isolated wing, 1255/1365, isolated complete wing .

Locality and horizon. Kubekovo village on the left bank of the Yenisey River ( 56.15°N, 93.13°E), Emeliyanovo district , Krasnoyarsk Krai, Central Siberia , Russia; Upper Itat Subformation of the Itat Formation (Bathonian; Middle Jurassic) GoogleMaps .

Description. Wing longer than abdomen, length, 4.0– 4.5 mm, wing maximal width, 1.4–1.7 mm. Wing transparent, with large pterostigma. C disappearing immediately beyond R 4+5 tip. Sc short, ending level to r-m or slightly distal to it, sc-r not visible. Distance between tips of Sc and R 1 2.5–5.0 times as long as distance between tips of R 1 and R 2+3. R 2+3 with noticable deflection in midlength. Discal cell elongated, 2 times as long as wide, crossvein im at or just before M 1+2 furcation. Additional crossvein between M 2 and M 3 in paratypes. Crossvein m-cu not parallel to costal wing margin; anal lobe of moderate size. Body bare.

Etymology. The species name honours Dr. Sergey Storozhenko, Vladivostok, to acknowledge his contribution to the study of fossil insects.
