Holotype. TV 900 , well-preserved impression of an isolated complete wing, MNHNL.
Locality and horizon. Bascharage, Luxembourg, limestone concretions intercalated in Schistes Carton of the Posidonia Shale Formation, early Toarcian, exaratum subzone.
Description. Wing length, 2.5 mm. Wing transparent, with large pterostigma. C disappearing immediately beyond R 4+5 tip. Sc short, ending level to r-m, sc-r not visible. Distance between tips of Sc and R 1 2.5 times as long as distance between tips of R 1 and R 2+3, R 2+3 and R 4+5 almost parallel along their entire length, except for strongly bend R 2+3 tip, bas R 4+5 shorter than r-m. Discal cell rounded, with subequal height and length. Crossvein m-cu not parallel to costal wing margin; anal lobe well-developed.
Etymology. The species name honours Dr. Ben Thuy, Luxembourg to acknowledge his contribution to palaeontology and the research of the Bascharage locality.
