Remarks. Spaeth (1898) described this taxon based on a long series of specimens collected by Dr. V. Plason in New South Wales, Australia. As Spaeth did not select the type in the original description, all specimens are syntypes. We have studied the type series, and it is consistent. There is, therefore, no current need for a lectotype designation. The ZMH specimen agrees with syntypes in the MM and, thus, is part of the type series.
