Material examined. ISRAEL: 1 ex., Golan Heights, Mas'ada, Ya'ar Odem reserve, 33°13’N, 35°45’E, 935 m, 21.IV.2006, leg. Wrase (cSch); 6 exs., Golan Heights, Merom Golan, 33°08’N, 35°48’E, 935 m, oak forest, 23./ 30.IV.2006, leg. Wrase (cAss, cSch).

Comment. The known distribution of O. kartabensis is confined to the Middle East (central southern Anatolia, Cyprus, Lebanon, Israel); the species was only recently recorded from Israel for the first time ( Assing 2006a).
