Description. Colour: Body dark—black with pale brown markings ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 ). Head black with paler basal part of the neck and apical part of antennifers. All antennal segments dark brown to black. Second segment with paler apex; fourth segment with pale apical part. Intercalar segments dark. Eyes pale with large dark spots. Ocelli not pigmented. Pronotum black or anterior pronotal lobe dark brown (some males). Posterior pronotal lobe black or black with paler lateral part of posterior margin. Pronotal setae white. Collar of the anterior pronotal lobe with white (females) or brown (males) setae. Scutellum pale brown (paler in females), with whitish or brown setae on apex. First and second labial segments black. Third labial segment and apical part of second segment dark brown. Labrum pale. Hemelytra transparent, except basal part of the corium in females. Veins on corium brown, dark on the membrana. Clavus transparent, dark brown (except apical part). Darker markings on the corium, connected with costal vein ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 ). Apical part of corium and basal half of the membrana on the same height dark. Apical part of membrana (except dark veins) not pigmented. Legs black to dark brown, femora slightly paler in basal part. Fore coxa dark with paler spot, middle and hind coxae pale with dark spot. Ventral part of thorax pale brown to brown, except black prosterna. Anterior margin of mesosterna as well as anterior apex and posterior part of metasterna with very dense, white (females) or brown (males) setae. Abdomen beneath black with paler II sterna and medial part of III–IV sterna. Connexivum bicolorous with dark anterior and whitish 1/3 posterior part. Connexivum of II abdominal segment pale with darker middle part. Tip of the abdomen black in both sexes.

Structure: All body shiny. Head with only a few short setae and distinct transversal sutura in lateral view. All labial segments with short, erected setae. Second visible labial segment reaching over posterior margin of head. Anterior margin of anterior pronotal lobe as well as anterior margin of mesosterna and anterior and posterior part of metasterna with robust, very dense, short and strongly curved setae. Longitudinal suture of anterior pronotal lobe very short, deeply hollowed and visible only in ½ basal half. Calli small, not covered by hairs. Lateral lobes of anterior pronotal lobe thinned dorsally with rounded apices (in lateral view triangular in shape). Lateral parts of posterior pronotal lobe convolute on posterior margin; distinct depressions in lateral parts. Posterior pronotal lobe with delicate depression in the middle, some females with longitudinal depressed line. Posterior lobe with several, medium sized setae. Scutellum with short, rounded apex covered by very short, curved, dense setae. Trochanters, femora and tibiae with various sized (mostly long) setae. Hemelytra slender and short but surpassing apex of abdomen. Corium shinny. Costal vein in basal part with short, strongly curved and dense setae present on 2/3 of its length. Abdomen beneath with medium sized setae.

Genitalia: Male—Pygophore with long median process, gradually narrowing into the apex ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 2 – 13 ). Median process of pygophore with curved, sharp apex and distinctly widening on apical half ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 2 – 13 ). Both parameres slen- der, with long and medium-sized setae on outer side and short setae on inner side ( Figs 4–7 View FIGURES 2 – 13 ). Phallus gradually narrowing into apex ( Fig. 8 View FIGURES 2 – 13 ). Phallosoma short ( Figs 9–11 View FIGURES 2 – 13 ). Basal part of the dorsal phallothecal sclerite enlarged ( Figs 8–11 View FIGURES 2 – 13 ).

Female—Gonocoxites of VIII segment quadrangular with rounded indentation on posterior margin and dense, short setae on outer side ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 2 – 13 ). Styloids with very short setae in apical part ( Fig. 12 View FIGURES 2 – 13 ). Apices of styloids convolute and divided. Gonapophysis of VIII segment, small and triangular with irregular external margin ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 2 – 13 ).
