Distribution: Cosmopolitan.
Egyptian localities: Coastal Strip: Abu Sir ( Mourad & Mallah 1960), Alexandria, Burg El-Arab, Janaleese. Fayoum:?. Eastern Desert: Esmailiya. Lower Nile Valley & Delta: Abu- Hommos, Beni Suef, Cairo, Fakoos, Kafr El-Sheikh, Mahalla El-Kubra, Tanta ( Mourad & Mallah 1960; Megeed et al. 2015), Mansoura. Upper Nile Valley: Assiout, Kom Ombo, Luxur ( Mourad & Mallah 1960; Bächli et al. 1982). Western Desert: El-Nubariya, Siwa, Wadi El-Natroun ( Mourad & Mallah 1960; Yassin & Abou-Youssef 2004).
Dates of collection: March to December ( Mourad & Mallah 1960; Bächli et al. 1982 and Yassin & Abou- Youssef 2004).
