Remarks. Lepturges (Lepturges) Bates, 1863 includes 88 species distributed from Canada to southern South America (Roguet 2023) . We are considering Lepturges (Lepturges) brechlini Santos-Silva et al., 2019 as a junior synonym of L. (L.) vigneaulti Audureau, 2018 .

Lepturges (Lepturges) vigneaulti was described based on a single male from Nicaragua ( Bezark 2024b; Monné 2024; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2023). One year later, Santos-Silva et al. (2019) described L. (L.) brechlini based on a single male from Panama. The study of two males from Panama (Figs 4–5) and a female from Nicaragua (Figs 6–7) allows us to conclude that L. (L.) brechlini (Fig. 8) is a junior synonym of L. (L.) vigneaulti (see photographs in Santos-Silva et al. 2019, Bezark 2023 a, and Audureau 2018), with extreme variation in the elytral pubescent pattern.

The female of L. (L.) vigneaulti (Figs 6–7) differs from males by the antennae being slightly shorter, the mesofemoral club slender (stouter in males), and by the last abdominal segment almost as long as the two previous segments together (about as long as the previous segment in males).
