FEMALE

Gnathosoma. Anterior margin of epistome with three denticulate projections. Seta h3 longer than h1, h2 and pc setae; h2 the shortest; insertion of h2 slightly posterior to insertion of h3. Inner palp trochanter seta slightly shorter than outer seta, not distinctly elongate. Deutosternum narrow, with parallel delimiting lateral lines and seven rows of denticles; two basal rows with 4–5 denticles each; other rows with 1–2 denticles each. Corniculi about three times as long as their basal widths, with pointed tips, subparallel. Palp tarsal apotele with two tines normally developed and a third minute tine. Cheliceral digits of similar lengths; fixed digit with a curved row of 14–17 teeth in addition to apical tooth; movable digit with two distal teeth in addition to apical tooth.

Idiosoma. Ovoid. Dorsum: podonotal and opisthonotal shields not fused, both strongly sclerotised and ornamented, without transverse and nearly straight lines or delineated strip along lateral margins. No supernumerary setae on dorsal shields or on unsclerotised lateral cuticle. Anterior end of podonotal shield not strongly deflexed; podonotal shield with 18 pairs of setae. Opisthonotal shield with 15 pairs of setae, without posterior tubercles. Unsclerotised lateral cuticle with 13 pairs of setae (r -R, UR) including r3, which is not perpendicular to cuticle, but distinguished from neighbouring setae by being longer and club-shaped. Most dorsal idiosomal setae of similar lengths, much shorter than distance to subsequent setae, acicular (except Z4 and Z5, club-shaped), barbed; lateral idiosomal setae short, acicular (except r3), smooth or barbed. Venter: a pair of presternal platelets present. Sternal shield lightly sclerotised, with three pairs of setae of similar lengths (st1–st3) and two pairs of lyrifissures (iv1–iv2), with a membranous band anterior to iv1 and a membranous region behind st3; st2 closer to st3 than to st1; posterior shield margin concave. Third pair of sternal lyrifissures (iv3) and st4 inserted on unsclerotised cuticle. Genital shield not wide enough to include iv5, but including st5; posteriorly truncate. Opisthogastric cuticle with a pair of elongate, curved or irregular metapodal plates and pair of elongate platelets between genital and anal shields. Opisthogaster with ten pairs of setae on unsclerotised cuticle, in addition to circumanal setae; anal shield subrectangular; para-anal setae inserted at level of posterior margin of anal opening, about as long as post-anal seta. Anal opening not enlarged, about 1/7 of shield length, separated from posterior shield margin. Endopodal shield reduced to two diagonally aligned elongate fragments between coxae I– II and an irregularly shaped fragment between coxae II–III, not fused with sternal shield.

Peritreme. Extending from stigma to region between j1 and z1; slightly narrower than diameter of stigma. Peritrematic shield wide, narrowly fused with dorsal shield at level of z1 and with exopodal shield behind coxa IV. Legs. All legs with pretarsi. Setation of legs I–IV, coxa: 2, 2, 2, 1; trochanter: 6, 4, 5, 5; femur: 12, 11, 6, 6; genu: 13, 11, 9, 9; tibia: 13, 10, 8, 10. Tibia III lacking seta pl2.

MALE

With an elongate tapering process inserted proximo-ventrally on paraxial face of fixed digit, extending slightly beyond tip of digit. Cheliceral digits of similar lengths; fixed digit with about 16 teeth in addition to offset subapical and apical teeth; movable digit with one tooth in addition to apical tooth; spermatodactyl about 1.5 times as long as movable digit, with straight, stout basal section and tapering, loosely spiraled distal section. Dorsal shield ornamentation similar to female, but podonotal shield broader, with 21 pairs of setae (including r2–r4); R5 and R6 absent. Shape and relative lengths of dorsal and lateral setae similar to female. With a pair of presternal platelets. Sternogenital shield with five pairs of setae (st1–st5) and three pairs of lyrifissures (iv1–iv3); posterior margin of sternogenital shield with a median lobe. Section of endopodal shield between coxae I–II fused with sternogenital shield; posterior section reduced to a small plate between coxae II–III. A pair of elongate metapodal plates present. Ventrianal shield suboval (long axis longitudinal), relatively longer and narrower than in female, bearing five of the nine opisthogastric setae in addition to circumanal setae. Femur II with a ventral spine-shaped seta and a rounded tubercle.
