We adopted the interpretation of Evans & Hyatt (1960: 49), Lindquist & Evans (1965: 37), Karg (1981: 54) and Halliday et al. (1998: 20), considering it to be a junior synonym of Cheiroseius . (b) According to Halliday et al. (1998: 20), Episeius is the senior name available for Cheiroseius (Posttrematus) .
