Lasioseius (Criniacus) Karg, 1980: 346 (Synonymy by Naeem et al., 1985: 352; Christian & Karg, 2006: 106).

Type species: Lasioseius drosophili Chant, 1963 , by original designation.

NOTE: (a) Evans (1958a: 223) and Chant (1963: 245) suspected this genus to be a senior synonym of Lasioseius ; (b) Hirschmann (1962: 37) suspected this genus to be a senior synonym of Lasioseius , Zerconopsis and Zercoseius .
