Material examined. MNHN 2002.0425 (female; SVL 29.0 mm, TaL 32.9 mm), Bayur, Province of Sumatera Barat, elev. 475 m.

Taxonomic comments. This species is monotypic. Our specimen shows a pattern typical for this species as shown in Manthey & Grossmann (1997).

Distribution on Sumatra. Provinces of Sumatera Utara, Sumatera Barat, Riau, Bengkulu, and Sumatera Selatan; also the islands of Bangka, Enggano and Nias, and Mentawai Archipelago and Riau Archipelago ( De Rooij, 1915).

Biology. A single specimen was collected at day time in August under a board, near a house on the shore of Lake Maninjau.
