TYPE LOCALITY: Kazakhstan, mouth of Ural River .

DISTRIBUTION: Steppes from Ukraine through N Kazakhstan to W Mongolia and NW China (Xinjiang) (see Corbet, 1978c).

SYNONYMS: abacanicus, agressus, altorum, migratorius , occidentalis , saturatus .
