TYPE LOCALITY: Russia, Khabarovsk Krai, Lake Evoron basin, Devyatka River .

DISTRIBUTION: Known only from the type locality.

COMMENTS: Subgenus Alexandromys , maxintowiczii species group sensu Zagorodnyuk (1990) . Considered by Meier (1983) to be closely related to A4, mujanensis and A4. maxintowiczii.
