TYPE LOCALITY: Sudan, Jebel Marra .

DISTRIBUTION: Known only from the type locality.

COMMENTS: Synonymized with G. campestris by Petter (1975b) without supporting evidence, but should be kept separate pending revision of the genus ( Lay, 1983).
