TYPE LOCALITY: Iraq, SW of Faluja, W bank of Euphrates River, near Amiriya .

DISTRIBUTION: Iraq and SW Iran in valleys of the Tigris, Euphrates, and Karun Rivers (see Lay and Nadler, 1975).

COMMENTS: A distinctive species defined and reviewed by Lay and Nadler (1975) and Harrison and Bates (1991).
