SYNONYMS: Dendrosminthus .

COMMENTS: Listed as a member of the Phloeomyinae by Simpson (1945), but no data supports such an allocation. Member of the New Guinea Old Endemics ( Musser, 1981c). Revised by Flannery et al. (1989).
