TYPE LOCALITY: Uganda, Lake Victoria, Kome Isl .

DISTRIBUTION: Uganda; endemic to islands of Kome, Bugala, and Bunyama in Lake Victoria (Bekele and Schütter (1989; Delany, 1975).

COMMENTS: Closely related to P. hopkinsi .
