TYPE LOCALITY: Kenya, Lake Naivasha, 6350 ft .

DISTRIBUTION: Kenya; recorded from W and S of Lake Naivasha ( Hollister, 1919).

COMMENTS: Considered by Thomas (19090:547) to be the smallest of the East African Tachyoryctes and occurring "quite close" to the two largest ( annectens and storeyi ).
