DESCRIPTION: See generic description.

ETYMOLOGY: Named for the long, dark brownish-gray setae on the gula and ventral surface of the head.

HOSTS: Unknown; collected in light traps and by canopy fogging.

DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
