TYPE LOCALITY: Sweden, Kristianstad, Engelholm .

DISTRIBUTION: Temperate Europe including Britain to the Ob and Irtysh rivers ( Russia) in the east.

SYNONYMS: cinerea, brauneri, ehiki, frisius, kratochvili, pancici, uralensis, velessiensis.

COMMENTS: Does not include altaica , caucasico , romana , and stankovici ; see comments under these species. Does include cinerea as a subspecies, and the names above as synonyms; see Niethammer (in Niethammer and Krapp, 1990).
