Diagnosis. A. grumi bicolor ( Figs 4–6 View FIGURES 1 – 10 ) differs externally from the nominate subspecies ( Figs 1–3 View FIGURES 1 – 10 ) by the darker and more monotonous blackish ground colour of forewings; in the male genitalia, A. grumi bicolor ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 11 – 16 ) has a somewhat narrower apical part of valva, more or less C-shaped ampulla (in the nominate subspecies the ampulla is more or less Sshaped), less sclerotized medial part of vesica, and a longer and narrower sclerotized plate in medial part of vesica; in the female genitalia, A. grumi bicolor ( Figs 21, 22 View FIGURES 17 – 24 ) has a more chalice-shaped and stronger sclerotized antrum.
Distribution. The subspecies is known from the Himalaya and southwestern China.
