Amphisbaenula orientalis Sternfeld, 1911c: 246 . TYPE LOCALITY: ‘‘ Mikindani’ ’, Tanzania. Syntypes: BMNH 1935.2.8.7:RR1946.8.2.18; MCZ 21904 ; ZMB 22067, 22407 View Materials (two specimens), 22408 (two specimens), 22409 .

DISCUSSION OF FORM: Loveridge (1941: 396) and Gans and Rhodes (1967).

RANGE: Known from the type locality only.
