TYPE LOCALITY: Canada, Saskatchewan, North Saskatchewan River, Carlton House near Fort Carlton .
DISTRIBUTION: S. British Columbia and C. Alberta to S.W. Manitoba ( Canada), south to C. and W. South Dakota, N. New Mexico, N. Arizona, C. and W. Nevada, and E.C. California ( U.S.A.).
