Male. Head ( Figs. 21 View FIGURE 21 A; 22A) broadest at eyes. Disc less pubescent, with dense punctures, surface without micro-striae. Clypeus transverse, surface punctate, protruding beyond anterior border of supra-antennal ridges, anterior margin with two tiny teeth between which with semicircular emargination, furnished a pair of sharp and slender spines slightly outcurved. Epistomal suture with middle portion absent, lateral posteromedially directed. Supra-antennal ridges elevated. Vertex depressed in anterior part, slightly convex in center; mid-longitudinal suture absent. Eyes convex, longer than temples, with coarse facets; orbital sulcus remarkable. Temple slightly dilated laterally. Neck constricted, and demarcated by occipital suture, surface delicate in dorsal center but coriaceous in lateral areas. Occipital suture curved, middle portion punctate and continuous, lateral portion present, with large setal fovea at each 1/3. Mandible ( Fig. 22 View FIGURE 22 D) stout, sharp, and incurved; bearing 3 teeth on inner edge: front one large, other two fine.

Pronotum ( Figs. 21 View FIGURE 21 A; 22A) narrower than head, widest at anterior 1/4, with mid-longitudinal sulcus present across whole length, with punctures as dense and large as in head, with micro-striae absent; anterior margin broadly emarginate, anterior lateral angles prominent, posterior angles rounded; lateral margins crenulate, beside each with shallow punctate depression. Scutellum with two bi-reniform impression. Elytra ( Fig. 33 View FIGURE 33 B) with posterior margin truncate, elytral suture dehiscent or partly overlapping.

Abdominal sternite VII ( Figs. 21 View FIGURE 21 C; 22F; 33C) with haired tubercle in center, posterior margin straight without modification. Sternite VIII ( Figs. 21 View FIGURE 21 D; 22G; 33C) posteriorly narrowed and truncate in middle; subbasal ridges continuous in middle.

Paramere arm-like; basal arm with furrow short and narrow; apical arm triangular at apex, not explanate, furnished with one seta at apex and one at near apex of ventral edge, scattered with few pits.

Female. Head ( Figs. 21 View FIGURE 21 B; 22B) smaller than male and almost equal to pronotum; clypeus with spines reduced into teeth, another one tiny tooth in middle; eyes longer than temples. Pronotum ( Figs. 21 View FIGURE 21 B; 22C) widest at apical 1/3, anterior lateral angles not prominent. Abdominal sternite VII without tubercle, sternite VIII ( Figs. 21 View FIGURE 21 E; 22H) with posterior margin broadly rounded.
