Syndicus (Syndicus) difficilis Jałoszyński, 2004 View in CoL ( Fig. 4C–F View Fig )
Syndicus (Syndicus) difficilis Jałoszyński 2004: 51 View in CoL ; Jałoszyński 2011 (new records in northern Thailand), 2014b (new provincial record in Thailand and new country record in Myanmar).
Additional Material Examined. One ♀: ‘[NW Thailand], Tak prov., Umbang WS, Pha Lueat stn., 28.i.2015, SK. Yamane leg., 470 m, leaf litter & surface soil’ ( SNUC) .
Distribution. Myanmar: Kayah State; Thailand: Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Phrae, Tak (new provincial record).
Comments. The form of the antenna ( Fig. 4D View Fig ), slightly angulate dorsal margin of the clavate part of the profemur ( Fig. 4C View Fig ), and form of the spermatheca ( Fig. 4E–F View Fig ) leave no doubt that the present female is conspecific with the population from the type locality.
Syndicus difficilis was originally described from the Thai provinces of Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai. Subsequent confirmed records from Chiang Mai ( Jałoszyński 2011) and additional records from Phrae Province in northern Thailand and Kayah State of Myanmar were later added (Jałoszyński 2014). Here this species is for the first time recorded from Tak Province in Thailand, ca. 310 km south of the type locality .
