Generic diagnosis. Gonotropis View in CoL can be recognized by the smooth, shallow, median longitudinal groove on the posterior half of the pronotum, the irregular antebasal, transverse pronotal carina that is angulate towards the scutellum medially, the strong sub-basal crest on 3 rd elytral interstria, and by the white facial pubescence.
